Terms of Use & Refund Policy

DesignRise AI – Terms of Use & Refund Information

Last updated: October 21, 2026

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern access to and use of DesignRise AI, available through https://design-rise.com/ (the “Website”), including free features and paid, credit-based AI tools. By creating an account, using DesignRise AI, or purchasing credits, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use DesignRise AI.

These Terms apply to DesignRise AI. Separate terms may apply to other DesignRise activities, such as advertising placements, sponsored content, or individually agreed creative services. Such activities are not included in DesignRise AI credit purchases processed through Paddle.

1. About DesignRise AI

DesignRise AI is an online platform providing AI-assisted creative and productivity tools. Depending on availability, its features may include:

  • AI chat and text assistance;
  • AI image generation and image editing;
  • background removal and image adjustments;
  • product mockup creation;
  • file analysis, summarization, and other document-related tools;
  • web-assisted research and other AI features introduced on the Website.

Individual features may be added, changed, temporarily unavailable, or removed. Descriptions shown in the relevant tool interface explain the functionality currently offered.

AI-generated content may be incorrect, incomplete, inconsistent, or unsuitable for a particular purpose. You are responsible for checking outputs before relying on, sharing, or publishing them. DesignRise AI is not a substitute for professional legal, medical, financial, tax, or other regulated advice.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

Some features require an account. You must provide accurate information, keep your login details confidential, and notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

You are responsible for activity carried out through your account, except where applicable law provides otherwise. We may reasonably restrict access when necessary to investigate fraud, misuse, security incidents, or material breaches of these Terms. Any action affecting purchased credits will be handled fairly and in accordance with applicable law.

If you are not legally able to enter into an agreement in your jurisdiction, you may use the service only with any consent or supervision required by applicable law.

3. Free Access

DesignRise AI may offer certain free features, trial access, or limited free usage. Free allowances, if available, may vary by tool, account, or promotional offer. We may adjust future free allowances or discontinue free offers, subject to applicable law.

Free allowances have no cash value and are not transferable or redeemable for money.

4. Paid Credits and Packages

Where paid access is available, users may purchase prepaid DesignRise AI credits (“Credits”) to use eligible tools on the Website. The number of Credits included in a package, its price, and any applicable taxes are displayed on the pricing page or at checkout before payment. The amount displayed and confirmed at checkout applies to that transaction.

Unless a different arrangement is expressly presented and accepted at checkout, Credit packages are one-time purchases, not subscriptions. They do not automatically renew or create recurring charges.

Purchased Credits:

  • are associated with the DesignRise account for which they were purchased;
  • are usable only for eligible features of DesignRise AI;
  • have no independent monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash outside an applicable refund or statutory remedy;
  • may not be resold or transferred between accounts without our permission;
  • do not expire under our current Credit purchase model.

We may change the prices or quantities of Credits in future packages. Such changes will not retroactively reduce the number of Credits already purchased and credited to an account. If the service or a paid feature is discontinued, we will address any unused purchased Credits in accordance with applicable consumer rights and the circumstances of the discontinuation.

5. Credit Usage and Failed Requests

Different AI tools or operations may consume different amounts of Credits. The applicable cost and usage conditions are indicated through the Website, the relevant tool interface, or other purchase or usage information made available to the user. A request may require more than one Credit, depending on the tool and operation.

Credits are normally deducted when an eligible paid operation is successfully processed. If an operation fails because of an identifiable platform or third-party technical error before the requested result is delivered, we will take reasonable steps to investigate and restore any Credits incorrectly deducted. Contact us if the balance is not corrected.

Results that require processing but do not match a user’s subjective creative preferences are not automatically treated as failed requests. This does not limit any applicable consumer rights where a service is defective or not as described.

6. Payments Through Paddle

Payments for eligible DesignRise AI Credit packages are intended to be processed through Paddle when live checkout is enabled. For purchases completed through Paddle, Paddle acts as the Merchant of Record and seller to the buyer, and handles payment processing, applicable transaction taxes, receipts, and payment-related refund requests under its terms.

Purchases made through Paddle are subject to the applicable Paddle Buyer Terms and Paddle Refund Policy. DesignRise provides and supports the DesignRise AI service itself.

Credits are added to the applicable DesignRise account after the payment has been successfully confirmed and matched with the account. Prices, currencies, and any applicable taxes or exchange-rate information will be presented at checkout. We do not request or intentionally store your full payment-card number or card security code on the DesignRise Website.

Advertising placements, sponsored articles, promotional backlinks, and separately contracted creative services are not included in these Paddle Credit transactions.

7. Refunds, Withdrawal Rights, and Payment Issues

Refunds for purchases processed through Paddle are governed by the Paddle Refund Policy, the Paddle Buyer Terms, and any mandatory consumer-protection law that applies to the buyer.

Depending on the buyer’s location and circumstances, statutory withdrawal or refund rights may apply. Paddle may also consider discretionary refunds under its published policy. The fact that Credits are digital or have been made available immediately does not eliminate rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

For payment-related refunds or withdrawal requests, use the support link in your Paddle receipt or visit https://paddle.net/. For a technical issue with missing Credits, tool access, or an incorrectly deducted balance, contact hello@design-rise.com with your DesignRise account email and, where available, your order reference. Do not email us full card numbers, security codes, or passwords.

We will investigate service or Credit-delivery problems and, where appropriate, coordinate with Paddle. Refunds are issued through Paddle, not by DesignRise directly to the buyer, for Paddle-processed transactions. If a transaction is refunded, reversed, or charged back, the corresponding unused Credits may be removed or the balance adjusted, subject to applicable law and a fair resolution of any disputed usage.

8. Account Deletion and Unused Credits

You may request account deletion by contacting us. Deleting your account may prevent access to unused Credits and saved items associated with that account. If you have purchased unused Credits, contact us before deleting your account so that we can explain the available options.

Account deletion does not by itself create a right to exchange Credits for cash; however, this provision does not affect any mandatory refund, withdrawal, or other consumer rights.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use DesignRise AI to:

  • break applicable laws, violate the rights of others, or infringe copyrights, trademarks, privacy, or other rights;
  • create or distribute fraudulent, misleading, impersonating, exploitative, or non-consensual material, including unauthorized face swaps or deceptive deepfakes;
  • use a person’s name, likeness, image, or personal information without a lawful basis or any required consent;
  • generate or distribute content that promotes violence, sexual exploitation, abuse, or other prohibited activities;
  • upload malicious software or attempt to access systems, accounts, or data without authorization;
  • circumvent usage limits, billing mechanisms, safety measures, or access controls;
  • interfere with, overload, scrape, or disrupt the Website or associated services.

Some AI generation features or use cases may be unavailable or restricted to meet provider, payment-platform, or legal requirements. We may refuse or limit requests that violate these Terms or applicable restrictions. Availability of a tool does not mean that every possible use is permitted.

10. Uploaded Materials and User Responsibilities

You are responsible for prompts, files, text, images, links, and other materials you submit (“User Content”). You must hold any necessary rights or permissions to upload and process User Content, including client content and photographs of identifiable individuals.

Do not upload passwords, full payment-card details, private authentication credentials, or other highly sensitive information unless an expressly identified feature requires it and appropriate safeguards are provided.

You grant DesignRise and the third-party service providers used to operate the requested feature only the permissions reasonably needed to receive, process, transmit, store where necessary, and return your User Content to provide the service, subject to our Privacy Policy and applicable law. This does not transfer ownership of your original User Content to DesignRise.

11. AI-Generated Outputs and Intellectual Property

Subject to applicable law, any third-party restrictions, and rights in material supplied by others, you may use the outputs you obtain through DesignRise AI for lawful purposes. DesignRise does not guarantee that an output is unique, protected by copyright, free from third-party rights, or appropriate for commercial use in every jurisdiction.

You are responsible for reviewing generated content, checking facts and permissions, and obtaining any necessary rights, releases, or licences before publishing or commercially exploiting it. Similar or identical outputs may be generated for other users.

DesignRise retains rights in its own branding, original Website content, software, interface, and other proprietary materials, except where applicable law or a separate agreement provides otherwise.

12. Third-Party Technology and Availability

DesignRise AI may rely on third-party AI models, infrastructure, hosting, storage, analytics, security, and payment services, including Paddle for eligible purchases. Third-party outages, safety restrictions, technical changes, or other dependencies may affect availability, output quality, or processing times.

We aim to provide a reliable service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free results. Where reasonably possible, we will address material service interruptions and incorrectly deducted Credits, without limiting legal remedies that users may have.

13. Privacy and Data Processing

Information about personal-data collection, use, sharing, retention, and relevant user rights is provided in our Privacy Policy. Payment data handled by Paddle is also subject to Paddle’s applicable privacy notices.

Some prompts or uploaded materials may need to be processed by external technology providers to deliver the features you request. Do not assume that all files or generated content are retained indefinitely or deleted immediately; refer to the applicable Privacy Policy and feature notices for details.

14. Changes to Features and These Terms

We may update features, Credit package offerings, or these Terms to reflect changes in our service, technology, payment arrangements, or legal obligations. Updated Terms will be published with a revised “Last updated” date. Where required by applicable law, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent.

Changes to future prices or usage rules do not automatically cancel existing legal rights or retrospectively remove Credits already purchased. Material changes affecting purchased Credits will be handled fairly and in accordance with applicable law.

15. Disclaimers and Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DesignRise AI is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, originality, or suitability of every AI-generated response or result.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DesignRise is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses caused by reliance on AI-generated content, temporary service disruptions, or third-party failures. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability, warranties, statutory remedies, or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
